Process Engineer (m/f/d)

Your new
CHALLENGES

Independent programming and configuration of Siemens SIMATIC S5 and S7 controllers in STEP5, STEP7 and TIA

  • Structured control solutions in Boolean logic, sequence controls, recipe management
  • Experience with measurement technology and evaluation of metrological variables
  • PLC-based management of relevant operating counters as a basis for statistical evaluation at process control system level

Experience with communication structures at field, control and process control level (SCADA):

  • PROFIBUS-, PROFINET-, TCPIP- based communication
  • DDE and OPC server-based communication
  • Process-optimized data management

Profound knowledge and experience with process visualization and process control systems in the following development environments:

  • InTouch, Historian from AVEVA (Wonderware)
  • WINCC flexible/Professional from SIEMENS

Understanding and willingness to develop structured and sustainable software development strategies with the aim of creating transparent, modular, expandable, largely reproducible and low-maintenance software structures and user-friendly user environments

Efforts to develop an in-depth understanding of the technology involved in operating the systems, as well as intensive, trust-based communication with the system operator and the resulting willingness and ability to develop and submit proposals for optimizing the systems on their own initiative

Genuine team spirit that prioritizes project success and where internal competition is out of place

Flexible operational readiness, due to the specific nature of the continuous production of the systems to be supported, in which the software maintenance time windows increasingly fall on weekends and also on public holidays/vacations

Your
QUALIFICATIONS

Completed studies in process engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable training

Several years of professional experience in PLC development

Good knowledge of German and English

Ability to work in a team and intercultural competence

Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel and class B driver's license
